About Me
I’ve spent more than 15 years designing digital products. At Pearson I led UX for learning platforms used by millions of students, including the Pearson+ AI Tutor. At Shutterfly I led the mobile app redesign and managed a team of designers. I also co-founded Origin, a specialty coffee marketplace I designed and built from scratch. Along the way I’ve built design systems, led teams, and designed AI features that people trust and keep using.
Today I’m also Head of the Graphic Design & Digital Product Department at Tiltan. My work there focuses on preparing designers for how the industry works now: modernizing the digital product curriculum, bringing AI tools into how students design and build, and building partnerships between the college and industry. Teaching pushes me to test new methods and tools early and to explain clearly why they work. I bring that same thinking to every team I consult for.
The academic role runs alongside my consulting work. Each year I take on a select number of consulting projects, workshops and design leadership roles, where I work hands-on with product, design and engineering teams.
